DIETRAC Technical Institute offers a 37-week entry-level and a 24 Week advance level training program in Electrical (Construction/Industrial)

On completion of the program the DieTrac Technical Institute student will obtain the necessary skills to competently enter the workforce at the apprentice level as they build a career in the Construction/Industrial Electrical field.

Trade theory includes the study of fundamental principals of general shop practice, safety measures in construction, power tools, DC Theory, single phase theory, three phase theory, electrical blueprint, DC motors and controls, electrical heating systems, power electrical control circuits and safety instruction.

Trade Shop and related shop work with emphasis on safe and proper work habits to develop the basic skills necessary to apply the principles outlined as follows.

This program is designed to assist persons in developing fundamental skills and knowledge to enter the labour force as apprentices in the Construction/Industrial Electrical field.  Students obtain the required education to install, test, repair and maintain electrical equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings using state of the art training equipment.
