DIETRAC TECHNICAL INSTITUTE was established in 1996 to fill a definite void in Industrial Trades training in this province. Since that time, due to the ever increasing demand for skilled tradespersons in the Global economy and here at home, Dietrac has attempted to keep pace with those demands such that we currently deliver these six programs at our campus in Lewisporte.
• Construction/ Industrial Electrical (entry & advance level)
• Carpentry (entry level)
• Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (entry & advance level)
• Millwright Industrial Mechanic (entry & advance level)
• Steamfitter/Pipefitter (entry level)
• Welding (entry & advance level)
Other programs approved and pending enrollment are Plumbing and Small Engine Repair.
We also offer a full complement of courses for students wishing to complete the Adult Basic Education Levels 2 & 3 program.
To date, more than 1000 students have successfully graduated and moved on to exciting and rewarding careers in the industrial trades industry throughout Canada.
